Federal Fair Housing Act
The Fair Housing Act protects people from discrimination in housing-related activities. HIP and all of our partners comply fully.

What we do internally

- Monitor for bias signals across calculators, referrals, and messaging.
- Provide escalation and remediation paths for reported issues.

What we require from partners
- Maintain active licenses and comply with federal, state, and local housing laws.
- Treat every lead from HIP with the same care and diligence.
- Honor opt-out, communication, and accessibility requests promptly.
- Report any discrimination complaints to HIP’s compliance team within 24 hours.

We take every report seriously. If you experience discrimination, please document it and reach out immediately.

Document what happened, including dates, names, and a summary. We’ll escalate with partners and take corrective action.
